It's probably the overpriced hotel rooms in Vancouver and the lack of chocolate espresso mixed drinks with rum
Sounds like standard crowd pandering, eh?
No, they said they loved us.
Bands never lie to you, do they?
David said, “better than Vancouver”, after a singalong of the “ah-aaaaaa, ah!” in “Just Can’t Get Enough”.
He was referring to our singing/crowd participation!
And in Edmonton on Nov. 21, Dave said Edmonton was better than Salt Lake City.
"...the music made between 1990 and 1981"
Why do it like that? Is that a Charles thing or what?
I was at the show in Vancouver and he said "you better than Edmonton!". Just to get the crowd going. Nothing more to it. Great show.
Well, Seattle is better than Edmonton. Man, it's wicked cold there, I remember during my Army days buying my first software in downtown Edmonton and it's worse than most of our field maneuvers in -40 C. Wind chill like you wouldn't believe.
Seattle has been Vancouver's Tacoma, for decades.
But Vancouver is "better than Edmonton!" And Seattle is better than Vancouver. What if he was telling the truth?
Vancouver tends to reserve its strong crowd reactions for relevant bands, not old geezers doing their boring self-tribute act.
