I've really gotten into Mabe Fratti over the last couple years. While I might superficially describe her work as somewhere between neo-classical and pop, she is such a distinctive talent who defies categorization. Not in a place where I can listen to this new track, but it would be a natural evolution for her to inject some beats into her work.

"Fratti was slated to play Triple Door on July 16, but, unfortunately, it looks as if the show's been canceled. Let's hope another Seattle date gets scheduled this year."
