@1 The rumor is suicide and that's pretty hard to talk about for a variety of reasons.

I agree with "Jubilation T. Cornball"; no one is helped by hiding suicide, yet, as a society almost everyone is complicit in pretending. That pretending just perpetuates dysfunction around mental health. Such bullshit times, with so many clamoring that we need to do more about addressing mental health but continuing with the same stupid shit and expecting different results. We need to discuaa these things and we need to know that seemingly successful, great and "happy" people struggle because they, like so many of us, are NOT happy.

The Stranger would do well to ask and answer what killed Kevin Diers. Otherwise, it is as pretentious as KUOW as well as the mainstream of media. Kevins friends would honor Kewvin better -if, indeed it was suicide- in not lying about his struggles. Our F'd up world is only more F'd by our looking the other way and pretending the problems aren't there (out of respect for... what?)
