A Theoretical Death Match

Ugh, I know *nobody* will read this because I just searched "Mastodon," but just for future reference, El Corazon SUUUUUUCKS. If you can help it (I couldn't for Mastodon, not that I went but if I had the chance to at El Corazon), don't *ever* go to that shithole. I saw a Pelican concert there, it was ridiculously lame. Shit stage, SUPER shit sound system, I mean everything about it reeked of being awful. If it's worth the extra cash, and it so is, go see a band like Mastodon in a respectable venue. Saw them and Dethklok at the WaMu Theater in early October along with High on Fire and Converge, the stage was perfect as was the rest of the setup and the execution of the concert made it absolutely tremendous, captivating, all that good stuff. In El Corazon, I couldn't even pay attention to the bands, I was too worried I was going to get crushed by falling debris brought down by mountains of rat poop in the ceiling. The place is just a cheesy, shitty little hole in the wall that I think may be purposefully designed to make you vomit, as if somehow that makes the metal better. It doesn't, it just makes me want to vomit.

Please wait...
