Sleepy Eyes is pretty much my favorite band in Seattle, nice writeup. I'll be out of town for the Neumos show, pretty bummed.

Sleepy Eyes of Death is, hands down, my favorite act in Seattle right now. I'm spoken for 'til a little after 10 that night; I'm hoping I can still catch their set.

Nice piece. I agree with thelyamhound in saying this is one of the best acts in Seattle. Looking forward to their set (and the new CD).

impressive, admirable, certainly unique

but until there's some variation in song structures or arrangements, they are ultimately a one-trick Tron motorcycle
