Jamie is one of the most beautiful and amazing human beings, ever. I've seen her transformation over the last five years and it's quite phenomenal.
As an artist who has been diagnosed with anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder, I'm really glad that she spoke out about depression and PTSD; mental illness and other 'personal stuff' is not very well accepted or fully understood in the music and arts communities and as a result, less people get the help they really need. I hope that with Jamie's experience, people will be more open and understanding of depression and other psychological disorders and get adequate treatment for those who suffer from them.
