Can't download the Sunday Schedule.

Otherwise, can't wait for the crowds of fun.

@Segal

What are some of the many things you can rag on Canada for? Better public schools, health care and legal gay marriage?

Hey. Do us all a favor, please list each group's Myspace and Facebook pages :) Thanks

It's set up in a shitty area - can't get to my regular bars for the weekend. Set it up further East on Pike Street - or how about closing Broadway!! I hate Cap Hill Block party - not only do you pay too much for head banging music but then you get to pay too much for booze. Austin doesn't close it's regular bars when SXSW is there - DUH let's get a clue!!

dear cap hill lady... why dont you just stay inside and shut the fuck up! this line up is stellar and it brings together a sense of community that i live for. i live on the hill and cant wait to see a shit ton of my friends perform and grab a drink with all my neighbors. i think you should prolly move to portland or belleview! kthanxbye

Everyday Records is mentioned on the Capitol Hill Block Party web site, which is cool, but don't forget to also hop into Sonic Boom a couple of blocks away. I'm not affiliated with them; I just live nearby and I'm excited they're near me and I want them to live and do well.

Not sure $20 for a full day's worth of music counts as overpriced, but maybe you don't pay for music so it seems like a lot?

I love the new MGMT album! I like the first more but the new album shows a level of maturity that a typical critic of the nowadays can't comprehend...
9
Unreal how bad this lineup is..They should move this festival to Des Moines, Iowa.

@2
Just for starters: horrible winters, hockey hair, a metric shit ton of mediocre-awful bands, Geddy Lee's voice, the widespread use of the French language, hyper-senstive internet commenters.
11
I'd rather give myself a mullet, blow Gord Downie and bury my head in the snow than live here for another year. I can't wait to get back to Canada.
12
I would like to take this time and personally thank employee at everyday music for allowing me the opportunity to see mgmt for the second time this year !!!

Oh yeah.. and the CHBP for placing them on the bill ;)

Love,

This lineup is terrible. But so is live music these days. Not the block party's fault.. they chose what's popular! It's THIRTY dollars a day though, if you pay at the door.. and that's disgusting.
14
Still not cool to wear fur. Especially if you are in a shitty band.
15
if the Eagles were cooler? HAw!
16
only objection to the block party is the terrible hygiene on display. ticket price should include a voucher for a free shower with shampoo and soap
17
Space wise this was the worst event ive ever been to. You invite thousands and thousands of people to fit into THAT small area. RETARDED!!! I still cant believe that was the block party.......dumb!
18
Everything sucks when you're 12. Your dog sucks too, sucky dog owner. I'm going to the Block Party on Sunday. Hurray!

seattle......plagued by bad ideas....

Please wait...
