I've seen Numan before and it was one of the best concerts I've seen! He still incredible performer, and his creativity and charisma is unbeatable. Long life to the god of all electronic bands! ETERNAL LOVE FOR NUMAN!!!

Well done, Dave. I interviewed Numan and saw him live at the Fenix ca. Exile in 1998 or 1999, and he was a charming talker and put on a great live show; much more engaging that the clips I'd seen of him in his early '80s heyday. I'm still a huge fan of his more oddball albums, like Dance, and his book Praying to the Aliens is one of those great-because-it's-flawed rock autobiographies.

Dave Segal interviews Gary Numan. What is this? A dream sequence? Ha. Excellent interview with one of my favorite musical figures.

I saw him in Seattle in either 98 or 99 too. Amazing. He has been a strong inspiration for me as a musician for many years. So happy to hear he is playing Seattle again. Wish I could be there.
