These two gentlemen are indeed brilliant and fine musicians. Knowing Kristian for a few years now - primarily as a member of Joules and later as a signee on our little record label - I can attest to his versatility, genius and great talent. Good going, you guys!
This is awesome. Featuring these guys cancels out the waste of space that is the Fleet Foxes "review". Kristian is without a doubt one of the best musicians I've ever met. If I had known then what I know now, I would have joined that ska band he asked me to back in 8th grade.
@2. I COMPLETELY disagree. I encourage The Stranger to play a Thousands album to various collections of thousands of things. 1,000 ants or 1,000 beans. A school of 1,000 fish. I would totally read that article.
I mean, this article is okay, I just think it could be better if it was more like the fleet foxes one.
I'm being totally serious. That fleet foxes review completely made my day!
Nice! Congrats to "The Thousands"... very inspiring story. I also know Luke Bergman to be an excellent jazz bassist out of the UW music department a few years back. One of the best musicians I've had the pleasure of playin' with!
