Just as an addendum to recent events: when Madonna performed in Moscow last week she wore a backless outfit and had the words Pussy Riot written in large letters across her back. Not sure if she did something similar at her St. Pete show.

Sad to see anyone get arrested for something such as this,but WHY is this more important then abuse of power and authority which take place on a daily basis in nearly every city in this country.WHY is racial profiling and police brutality not worth much space in the Stranger(unless a artist at Pike Place Market gets killed,then it is radical chic to question the police.).Pussy Riot MIGHT be a excellent band musically,but having seen people get arrested at Fear and Black Flag shows for amazingly questionable reasons,I personally don't find this to be that amazing.
