Alex Hubbard is my nephew with a beautiful heart and a wish that the world around him could be opposite of the clutter and violent chaos that has always surrounded him. Unlike most of us, Alex is that rare gem that actually puts words into action. He ventures out and tries to make the world he and those around him, a much better place than it is, and that his way of making this happen, is with his magic fantasy.
I am amazed at how talented he truly is, because he does get his work published and has the ability to put together, however imperfect to some, a music piece to be seen by a surprisingly large audience. He may have Asperger’s Syndrome, but nothing denies his resolve to complete a project; to put himself out there for others to judge, and regardless of the apathy in the world today, to make us stop and look to this young man as an example of how far we have strayed from a truly caring humanity, free from all of the excuses we create for validating our lack of passion and compassion, in every aspect of our public socialization. Ironic, isn’t it?
I've seen the flyers around town and have been curious. But that's just frickin awesome man. Keep doin you. Real artists do it for the passion. Keep at it.
