I wish I remembered the time I saw Glass speak. I mean I do remember, but nothing he said, because the venue was the lobby of a grand symphony hall on the East Coast. Beautifully ornate, crowded, two stories high, so people clamoring into the upper deck view points. Was in conjunction with his 1988 psychedelic opera "1000 Airplanes On A Roof" which I saw the next night. We had the worst seats in the house, but still impressive. Lights, music, video, the usual sensory overload that has floated his boat all these years.
You can bring in any outside food you want (no beverages) as long as it's not in a hard-sided cooler. Assemble a tupperware smorgasbord beforehand!
