I'm Your Bandmate, Not Your Roadie

Doesn't the bass player always carry the lead singer's shit?
2
Pretty easy to figure out which local band this is.

3
Why not simply talk to your bandmate? Confrontation is good for people. ...especially wimps :)
4
I see I, Anonymous hasn't changed one bit in the last six years. Passive Aggressive people weigh in and the assertive online personalities that critique them...yawn.
5
This might be one of the very few times when acting passive-aggressive just maybe makes sense. Band relationships and egos can be really tricky and the author might just wanna blow off some steam, but really enjoys playing in the band outside of load-out time. I imagine this written at 3am.
6
Every single band needs a therapist (and NOT a therapist like that freak in the Metallica documentary). Seriously. CONFRONT YOUR BAND MATE DIRECTLY or quit the band.
7
The fact that you can't tell this to her face sort of means that you ARE her roadie, at least in spirit.
8
There's now a separate "I, Anonymous" just for music-related stuff, that even has its own email account? Long overdue, I say. In fact, you should take it a step farther and give all the music-and-nightlife-related content its own separate blog.

Be an adult. Deal with your own shit. If you're hanging out with people who aren't being adults, don't hang out with them.

End of story. Duh. This is so not rocket science.

Who has time for selfish douchey friends?
10
You had me until "Bass Player". Then I was like oh, what else would you possibly have to do?
11
Lol

"I see I, Anonymous hasn't changed one bit in the last six years. Passive Aggressive people weigh in and the assertive online personalities that critique them...yawn."

The same can be said of a lot of the comments. Yours is a good example.

I believe Ann Landers wrote that none gives the permission to take advantage of you except yourself. Applies here (and in all professions).
14
Why was it necessary to include that really awful drawing?
15
As the bass player looks at the "bandmate," so the "fucking roadies" (past, present, or future; real or imagined) are looking at you.

@4: Well, well, well. Look…
16
@13, Hamlet too.

Except, sorry bass player, you WILL be picking up her shit next time. Because she is the star. She might not be a real star, you still might be eating reheated Spaghetti-O's from Chef Boyardee while on the road, but she's a bigger star than you.

I know, it sucks to realize that some contemptible person literally matters more than you. But cheer up, most of us don't matter at all!

#17 must be a lead singer, certainly has the ego to be one.

Please wait...
