Dre in 2015: Too Much Melodrama, Not Enough Menace

My Philosophy: A Column about Hiphop and Culture

the Duwamish simply got here first, if indeed that is accurate and another tribe/culture didn't precede them.

property is theft, and taking it is how things used to work before the rich established the rule of force. it doesn't "belong" to anyone.
I love rap because I love treating women like property: pimping them out and giving them a back-hand when they get lippy. I also like how they kill each other. That's so legit.
The hype around 'Compton' feels really forced, like the industry (aka Apple) has huge expectations, even though no one seems to have a single fuck to spare.

That, and I hope Donald Trump never stops running for president.
One of my favorite Daily Show skits ever was "Rapper or Republican" in which they quoted either a rapper or a republican and their fellow correspondents had to guess which it was. Obsession with money, objectification of women, gun-loving... That was some seriously tough competition.
lotta garbage people in the comments this time around
Neither. Fuck Republicans. And FUCK DRE. Yea, I said it.
