I'm right there with you w/r/t the 94 revivalism. For a more direct imitation/tribute, check out what Netsky has done on his debut album for Hospital Recordings. Sounds like the best album Good Looking never released. Drum and Bass vibes from that era without having to prove how many rare jazz records you own. The great thing about that era is the pieces are still laying on the ground. Nobody has swept them up and repurposed them into a new sound until now. Very exciting.
