Oh Anna Minard,

Are you upset that this was the venue and bands that you were chosen to write about?

Please elaborate on the "bunch of important political shit" that you were taught by RATM as a teenager.........

There are not enough Paul Ryan fans in the entire state of WA to fill up your shitty shared housing let alone the Central......

Go listen to your fucking Kesha songs and roofie yourself to sleep.

Anna Minard, I am all about your right to free speech and expressionism. So I will respect your opinions. However a few things to clarify for the readers concerning the 4/20 show at the Central Saloon. First of all, I am promoting it, and had the line up of bands together and confirmed WAY before the venue informed me that there would be an after party for the Supercross there. So one thing has absolutely nothing to do with the other.

The two opening bands are still original bands and the Rage tribute is nothing short of AMAZING. I am an original music promoter and as such I only work with original bands, save the exception of Bullet In Your Head. These guys are about passion, they don't care how much money they make and just love playing the songs from their heart. Also worthwhile to note that the Rage tribute also has their own original band called Pilot To Bombardier that is equally amazing. These guys play Rage songs because they love playing tribute to the band and they are goddamn amazing at it. If you saw J.D. (their "Tom Morello" in action you would be sold instantly. This guy is a god on guitar and super inspiring to watch in either band.

As to the type of clientele that will be in the venue based on the after party, I can't speak to that point because you could be right and you could be wrong. But I submit to you lumping hard working artists in your show review and directly identifying them with the afterparty is uneducated and un-grounded, as we literally only found out about that ourselves within the last week. And I have to say, I have hosted a gazillion shows at The Central and always had great experiences, no girls getting roofied, and while in ANY bar there are a few drunk douche bags, it's mainly people enjoying local Seattle music and having a kick ass time.

Sincerely, --- Little Ben owner of LittleBen Productions.
