The Bleeding Apartment/Greenwood/Sun Dec 15/12:06 am: When Officer Hirjak and his partner arrived at the location to investigate a 911 call, they found a woman standing outside on the corner who was "covered in smeared blood from head to toe." The blood was not hers, but her boyfriend's, she explained to Officer Hirjak. She stated that she had an argument with her man and called him a bitch; he went "ape-shit" and "in a drunken rage he fell on a glass and cut his hand."

Officer Hirjak writes: "We followed a trail of blood to her apartment where there was significant blood spattered on the door. We entered the apartment [and] there was a trail of blood leading to the bathroom. The trail stopped there. The [boyfriend] was not there. There was blood all over the apartment. The kitchen had blood all over its counters and floor. There were pools of blood in the sink, as well as blood sprayed across a dinette set." Later, a witness explained to Officer Hirjak that the boyfriend smashed himself up because his girlfriend refused to "treat him to a hand job." Officer Hirjak was unable to locate the suspect with the bleeding hand.

The Sleeping Stabber/Mount Baker/Sun Dec 15/12:15 am: Officer Cannon writes: "Upon arrival, the door was answered by a woman who told us to come in and pointed out the victim. The victim's shirt was covered in blood and he pulled up his shirt to reveal four stab wounds on his stomach.... When asked what had happened, he explained that he and the suspect had been drinking together and all of a sudden the suspect went [ape-shit] and stabbed him with a paring knife. The victim pointed out the nylon knife bag that contained the weapon.... As I was collecting the knife bag for evidence, I was told by a witness that 'the man who did this is outside asleep in his car, a BMW.' Officer Edison and I went outside and indeed the suspect was asleep in the car. We took him into custody [and later] booked him into King County Jail."

Have I Been Stabbed or Shot?/Pill Hill/Sun Dec 15/1:23 am: Late tonight, a man stumbled into Harborview Medical Center with a four-centimeter gash on his left temple and a one-inch laceration around his lower spine. The bleeding man, who earlier had been at Deano's Cafe & Lounge, asked the staff if it was a knife or bullet wound. The staff determined that he had been stabbed. When the staff asked the man who may have stabbed him, all he said was this: "I know them all. The motherfuckers stole on me. They knew I was drunk." After his injuries were treated, he left the hospital.

The Emperor's Blood Bath/Montlake/Sun Dec 15/1:28 am: Officer Hoter writes: "Officers responded to a hysterical woman saying someone was bleeding and drowned in a Jacuzzi. Upon arrival, officers found an unresponsive victim in the Jacuzzi. CPR was conducted until SFD took over. SFD medics pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. Homicide was contacted and assumed responsibility for the investigation." The Jacuzzi victim is described as a self-employed white male.
