I read that this was for a very long-running and well-produced reality series, "The First 48," not an upcoming series.
Usually the show is less adrenaline filled than most, focusing more on the procedural aspects of investigation homocides, not on SWAT raids. This isn't "Cops."
This is an example of how the term "reality TV" is an oxymoron. Being obseved and recorded changes behavior, especially when there are producers about trying to crank up the drama. The attorney mentioned has a good point. Maybe this type of thing should be called "Schrodinger's pitbull" after the dogs which are so often killed during raids. It is tragic that this time it was an innocent child.
@11-- Invoking the Gestapo also sent the article into the Godwin abyss.
Few things piss me off more than when someone who has a point I generally agree with delivers it in a way that embarrasses me for having the same point of view. That Kos article is a joke.
@17 yes actually, I've been considering it quite a lot, especially lately. I'm a local small business owner though and I'm just about to pay off my building. It's not as easy as just 'packing up and moving' for me to get there.

And you forgot to include the obligatory explanation of how this is Amazon's fault.
Think Seattle in 10 years......
I suggest you re-read the first reports and just ridicule anyone who questions it any further. Else, you may start coming across as a nut.
Tinfoil hat, Paul? Next your going to suggest that ALIENS shot the little girl from space. Come on, man, get a grip.

A good article? Just the description of the death as an "execution" is enough to discredit that lunatic.

I commend you for getting that far.
