Perhaps one of the most valuable lessons one can learn in journalism is to question everything. Despite the fact that this youtube video is titled "Chipmunk Family Dinner” the furry rodents in the video are not chipmunks, but are prairie dogs, and fat ones at that. For reference http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chipmunk.
Please eat a greasy breakfast and you’ll feel a bit better.
Last night the Seattle Police again introduced violence into an otherwise-peaceful demonstration, deploying chemical weapons against people who were apparently suspected of nothing more than jaywalking. CHS reported on it.
@9 - I was there right before it happened. Hopefully we'll get a post up about it as more details come to light. It did seem like a very agressive presence for what was a fairly lighthearted celebration. There were some anarchists with bricks I saw, but unsure of why force was needed.
@14, the youtube video someone said it had to do with traffic cones getting knocked over? Seems fishy but when dealing with the SPD probably not shocking.

I love my pdogs! They are the awesomest pets. If you think the video was cute, imagine one of them cuddled up in the crook of your arm, snoring away while you scratch his tummy.
1) does it have stripes? if yes, it might be a chipmunk!
2) is it a prairie dog? if yes, it is not a chipmunk.
