It was interesting what Ms. Rice said while being interviewed after the City Council's briefing Monday 03-11-2013 by Mr. Bobb and Assoc. She stated, in part, this is a 5 ring circus and everyone needs to get along.
First I had to laugh at this comment, as I am not from Seattle originally, but have heard different people call Seattle "Clown Town".
Then I thought about her words and pictured this in my mind.
1)The rings are set up in full view of the Tax Paying Audience- filled with the Elected and the City's Appointed performers.
2) The tent's general lighting is turned down and the spotlights focus on the said performers 5 rings performing the Department Of Justices' Reform tasks/duties for the "Best Interests of the Tax Paying Audience" knowing they are not there to carry out their own Self-interests and / or Self-indulgences.

Well, then, how about EVERYONE gets their asses fired and replaced? How would the union like that? They are mandated by FEDERAL officers to make these changes, who the hell is the fucking union to say no?

Just to follow up on this report, at the hearing on this SPOG challenge, which was also the hearing on the mayor's challenge to Pete Holmes' authority, the federal judge shut them down HARD. It was a good day for Holmes, and a lousy day for McGinn and his cop union buds. http://seattletimes.com/html/localnews/2…
