Ed Murray's Backers Are Running Dishonest Ads That Use Domestic-Violence Survivors as Political Pawns

Didja love Seattle when Greg Nickels was Mayor? Ed Murray is using the same techniques, and even some of Nickels henchmen (Tim Ceis) to lie thier way to power.

People complain about Mike McGinn's record, when they breeze over the facts and refer to "crime" and "bike lanes", and call him a political insider. Hardly. Murray has been in government almost 20 years, and that's NOT a good thing.

McGinn is beholden to no one, and that's the kind of Mayor we need.

Seattle is a better place for having Mike McGinn as mayor, and will suffer if Murray is elected.

Ed Murray's dishonest DV pawning ploy concerns me about his candidacy in Seattle's mayoral race. Dirty smearing is not good campaign strategy. Shame on you, Ed!
Meanwhile, incumbent McGinn will work hard to keep coal out of Washington State and off the BNSF tracks, and help keep our region a desirable place to work and live.

Please, those of you who live in Seattle and can (I don't so I can't), re-elect Mike McGinn Mayor of Seattle.

I got a bad feeling as soon as I knew that Ed Murray was leaving Olympia to try and unseat McGinn. Smelled of sordid and odd-bedfellows (coal, dirty banks and dirty real estate) united to get their pet shadowy causes through.

McGinn, please stay independent, non-crony and clean. We will re-elect you.

We can't just let this election happen on us, we have to wake up our friends and neighbors. This is a BIG election for Seattle and Washington State.

Also, Murray is as slimy as the lies in the ads if he doesn't refute them.

If something is a priority you don't "fold it in" somewhere for administrative reasons. Nickels did the same when he tried to merge the Women's Commission with the Human Rights Commission (though he eliminated a staffer). It's a message you send to the community about what's important.

And I think we can all agree to disagree about the crime downtown.

Petty crime is up probably everywhere thanks a lot to Wall Street and GOP (and center/right DEMs) agenda. Vote Left - and I don't mean Democrats - if you want to end the system of violent inequality that helps to cause crime.

I don't know but feel Murray is better for this city. Something about McScwinn stinks...

We also hear the neaws, and I hope a new phenomenon. With the development and advance of society, women play a more important in the country, and in China there is a sentence: Who can say men more able than women.

Keep an eye on Suzanne Dale Estey's for School Board. She has a PAC and Tim Ceis has made an in-kind donation. Other individuals in this PAC include Nick Hanaer, Christopher Larson, Matt Griffin , Steve Ballmer and Seattle's Chamber of Commerce.

Estey and Murray both have the same campaign consultant- Sinderman, and a PAC supported by Ceis and Hanauer.

This election is about corporate control of public education and there is $210K wrapped-up into Estey's campaign.

Ed Murray looks like Glenn Beck. Therefore I don't trust him.

"If you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor, period. If you like your healthcare plan, you'll be able to keep your healthcare plan, period. No one will take it away, no matter what."

No matter how you slice it, that was a lie

Not a comment from the stranger......What a "newspaper"
