What a waste of time. But so quick to react! Meanwhile, behind closed doors, our country's checks and balances are quietly burned down. Continue with your distraction and bills that everyone knows will go nowhere. The real fight is almost over, the future is now, discourse is logged, civil disobedience will be squashed and made in effect. "All your base belong to us".

We should give every female an IUD at age 12

Yeah, Boulder -- women being able to access healthcare and family planning is a distraction. Sure. /s

Here is your opportunity to undo the damage you have done by voting for a discriminatory law like RFRA. Religion should not receive preferential treatment from our government. Our laws are for everyone. If people want to impose an additional set of religious laws upon themselves fine. Religious laws should never be imposed on people of other religions or the "nones". It is necessary to separate religion from government.

Please repeal RFRA and delete the free exercise clause from the establishment clause!

An estimated 31% of WA voters identify as “NONES" and lets face it minority religions don’t benefit from the religious laws in out government the way the popular ones do. Please represent your constituents her in WA. Remove these awful religious laws!

@2 We should develop a male IUD.

"Decisions about birth control, Senator Murray says, should be "between a woman, her partner, her physician, and her faith."

she gets to be true to her faith, but not her employer?

nice.

asswipes.

@2: I agree in principle, but in practice, they won't fit. They barely got mine in when I was 30 (granted, I'm childless, which also makes a difference for the fit).

What an Awful Bill ,I will NOT support the "Not My Boss's Business Act."I am not sure when abortions became birth control but I truly feel THIS is an attack on women and children.Women need to be responsible for their actions and the abortion pill is not responsible its a grotesque quick fix. That these women end up paying for in the long run.How can anyone live with themselves after terminating an innocent life.I have a daughter and I can't even imagine that this would be a choice for her.The bill should read "Not My Governments Business."You want an abortion than pay for it yourself not your boss not the tax payers. This is not health coverage. It is time to make good choices for our daughters. This is not a good choice.

@11, way to show your knowledge of the issue. Has anyone said anything about abortion as a birth control method? while that is horrendously the case with a very very small segment of women, we're talking about birth control methods to prevent pregnancies. Did you read the article, and better yet, everyfuckingthing related to the Hobby Lobby Decision?
13
@12
The Affordable Care Act requires companies to provide their female employees with health insurance that includes no-cost access to twenty forms of birth control. The owners of Hobby Lobby objected on religious grounds to providing four of those forms – two brands of the emergency “morning after” pill (also known as the ABORTION PILL) and two kinds (IUDs).Hobby Lobby employees are still able to obtain all forms of birth control regardless of the feelings of Hobby Lobby owners. Hobby Lobby will even pay for 16 forms of birth control. Please tell me why the left keeps yelling about keeping your boss out of your bedroom, but you want the boss to pay for what goes on in there. And yes I did read it.Thanks for your input. And that segment is larger than you say much larger.Abortion is big business.

@12 So tell me mg how does Patty Murray's birth control bill affect you? I bet it doesn't,not one little bit.But the religious freedom act does.It could allow businesses to not have to serve gays.Is that really your issue. You like to stir up trouble. Why would you even post a comment to a Mother who is worried about the choices her daughter will have .That abortion is wrong in any form even pill form. And how our government is lying to women saying it is their right to terminate a life if they so choose. The government only cares about the big money they are making from abortions.
I am a concerned Mom who loves her daughter who is willing to stand up for what is right.

Please wait...
