Why would Angeline be on the native american mount rusmore? Her biggest claim to fame is throwing a rock at Arthur Denny's kid.

In 2rd grade (St. Anthony's of Padua if you must know), we studied native American culture as part of the New York State required curriculum. Five Nations. Huron. Algonquin. Iroquois (I remember they were the ultimate badasses.) Longhouses.

Shame on us. Whitewashing history, when It wasn't long ago that we forced Native children to attend "Indian School" and get whitewashed into "proper" Americans.
I hope the John Sayles movie "To Save The Man" gets produced in our State, the politicians are the ones that need the real "education".

If you had done a balanced job you would have included answers from some Republicans but I know your paper is ultra liberal. Not good journalism.
