Why do they call bio jet fuel "diesel"?

@4: It is diesel fuel, "biodiesel" would be the more accurate term, I suppose.

I meant to add, "diesel" refers to how the fuel reacts and is used (no spark to ignite, but the compression of the fuel/air mixture), not what it is made or derived of.

@7 so all jet fuel is technically diesel? Wikipedia is a bit vague actually
