"the greatest democracy in the world" is exactly what I would expect a 78 year old to say.

Jim drives a Prius.

We just desperately need a new generation of Democratic leaders that can connect with the public, especially young potential voters who've lost faith in the political process. Congressman McDermott, thank you for your service, but it's time to borrow a page from Frozen and Let It Go.
4
Somebody forgot to tell Walkinshaw that the Mayor has reserved that job for himself. The wrath of Ed Murray will be unleashed for cutting in line.
5
McDermott, to be fair, did end up going to a Sir Mix A Lot concert afterward.
6
I think what Jim meant to say was "Who is Brady Walkinshaw? I have socks older than that shortpants."
7
I wish I could have been a fly on the wall watching Ed Murray's face turn purple with rage, the veins in his neck bulging out like garden hoses, screaming "NOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Perhaps Hizzhonor has forgotten that once upon a time there was a one term WA State Senator who dared to challenge a seasoned U.S. Congressman in his race for the U.S. Senate. Some people asked, "Who the hell does she think she is, this nobody from Shoreline, this mom in tennis shoes???" In a televised debate she respectfully called him "Representative Bonker" and he condescendingly called her "Patty," instantly losing my vote. The rest is history.

GO BRADY!!!

Dear Mr. Wilkinshaw,

What the hell have you done in your two years here to make us believe you'd be better than McDermott? No, really...have you done anything at the state level? Just curious.

P.S. Where's our rent control??

Please wait...
