She supported Jess Spear's attempt to oust Speaker of the House Frank Chopp? I suspect she will have some difficulty gaining traction in the Democratic Party.
But I don't really see what difference she could make with her platform? I mean, sure, there were some token attacks on trans folks this session, but they were never going to pass. Housing is, for the most part, an issue for city government. Olympia does play a role in funding for homelessness, and a few broader housing-related issues, but Speaker Chopp is such a strong advocate from the House it's hard to imagine that one more housing voice in the House would have any impact.
