He went through the proper legal channels to get the trees removed. He didn't sneak over to his neighbor's yard in the middle of the night with a chainsaw and cut them down.
If you want to attack him over his support of the anti-trans campaign then make your case as to why he's wrong, hateful, bigoted, etc. The cutting of his neighbors trees (that happened three years ago and was done legally) has nothing to do with it.
@5: well, I hate my neighbor's view-blocking topped-and-bushed-out hemlocks, too. if they weren't there I could see the Boulder River and Monte Christo peaks. keeping those trees is just rude.
@2 I think the point is that he made his argument with the whole Love Thy Neighbor shtick. But he isn't really willing to extend that same Jesus-like grace to trans-individuals.
