Racism is the only real political force in this KKKountry. There's simply no other explanation for how a political party as obtusely stupid, destructive, and incompetent as the Trump-GOP can hold a jackboot on the neck of the sane people of this nation.
Millions of hate-crazed, mouth-breathing, sadistic, far-white AmeriKKKans will gladly die in agony while saluting and screaming their "Heil Twitlers" if it means that a single black person will be unable to receive healthcare.
be sure to call it republicare. if we tie it to one individual (trump, ryan, etc) that individual becomes the focal point and can be scape goated. if we tie it to the whole damn party they have to take responsibility for it as a party.
@ 2, If there is one ray of hope, it's that life expectancy is going down for Twitler's psychopathic, elderly white power base. Look at Twitler and his sychophants and supplicants--all older than dirt.
Within ten years, the Silent Generation along with half of the Boomers--the last far-right, racist generations--will be gone, hopefully taking the RepubliKKKan party with them. The rest of us just need to survive long enough to outlast them and their hateful insanity.
in the event the GOP effort doesn't succeed: Allow Obamacare to fail and let Democrats take the blame
And the country will believe it too.
The U.S. is full of short-sighted people who only think about themselves and what's happened to them in the last 5 minutes.
In a country that can elect another republican just 8 years after republicans openly allowed and even encouraged the banks to nearly destroy the entire nation, anything is possible.
I'm calling it SwampCare...written by a bunch of cold-blooded REPtiles, happy to drain the SCROTUS in return for President Swamp's support. Who knew that was what he meant by "Drain the swamp?"
@7 Would that it were that simple. The latest post-electoral analysis seems to indicate that age is not as much a differentiation as culture, and the culture of younger white, high-school-educated flyover-country denizens is about the same as their parents. Nascar, Nashville, rodeo, xenophobe, Evangelicals are breeding more of the same. Dem hopes for the future have centered around the high birth rates of Hispanics, but considering the numbers converting to Evangelicals, I'm not so sure anymore.
We still needed free clinics with the ACA.
It was supposed to be a "baby step" on the way to single payer healthcare, something acceptable to the Republicans.
That strategy failed.
No more appeasing the Republicans.
No more for profit healthcare.
No more free clinics.
No more half measures and baby steps.
No more excuses.
We need single payer healthcare, and we need it now.
We are going to spend the next four years watching Americans die because we didn't do the right thing in 2008.
We can't let this happen again.
We have to fight for single payer healthcare every day from now to 2018 and on to the White House in 2020.
We don't have a choice.
American needs single payer healthcare.
@7 Unfortunately, people become old all the time, at which point many become more socially isolated, and a captive audience for FOX propaganda network.
@raindrop Can you direct me to Rand Paul's healthcare bill? When I google, it only comes up with a "repeal only" bill that he proposed so the Republicans can stall on creating the terms of the replacement. They should have thought about what was next a lot sooner IMO.

hopefully they go to a good university and take some psychedelics.
