If Scammydouche isn’t careful, he’s gonna blow it for Miss Congeniality. And to think that he kisses the Presinazi with that mouth!
Just last week, I thought we’d reached peak sleazeball. Srsly, we’re now dealing with Twitler’s second stringers, the ones who were too gross to make the first cut.
@2: these are the 1st stringers, the NYC grifter class he wanted originally, but that the GOP party apparatus (Priebus, essentially) didn't want anywhere near the veneer of sanity they tried to lay over the Trump Admin.
Cruise ships are really the height of low class: only those who qualify as ghetto or trailer park trash would consider them "classy" or even sophisticated.
I watched the Senate votes (and the debates) yesterday on C-SPAN 2 including the vote on Skinny Repeal around 2230 PDT. After the vote, Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) got up and gave the most ungracious, sour grapes-type, bitter-old-fuck speech I may have ever heard (try to find it on You Tube or C-SPAN). The Minority Leader, Chuck Schumer (D-NY), who is no angel, rose and was eloquent and graceful and denied that the Democratic side of the chamber was rubbing anybody's nose in the defeat. He said, "Let's turn the page," and offered to work hard with the Republicans on fixing the ACA.
#1 - I can't see the Republicans working with the Democrats on healthcare. The Dems want it; the GOP does not (and neither do the Koch brothers).
#2 - I don't see them working together on much of anything if Mitch McConnell sets the tone. He's looks and sounds absolutely poisonous. You wonder why a state keeps sending back these shits to the Senate. North Carolina is heavily populated with African-Americans and yet that state kept sending Jesse Helms back to Washington. Seniority? Maybe, but really? I remember a couple of years ago Ashley Judd was going to run against ol' Mitch. That lasted about three days. Mitch's people probably showed her what they had against her.
It just seems to me that Congress is this: Half well-adjusted men and women who want to help people and make life easier for the disadvantaged, and half grumpy, selfish fucks who are in it for themselves.
