@2 Catalina Vel-DuRay: I fully agree. No arguments. That's why I always check no on my ballot every time I see an Eyesore Initiative. Here's hoping that 2018 is the year we Make America Think Again.
Personally, the presence of paid signature gatherers doesn't add so much as a shred of legitimacy. There's been too many stories of paid signature gatherers giving entirely untrue summations of intentionally misleadingly-worded initiatives (including one example where I'm pretty sure I was duped into signing my name against something I support) for me to ever believe one again.
I've also seen enough stories like this one to know that no one should ever trust a Tim Eyman initiative either, regardless of what it purports to be.
In the initiative "industry" you can hire your way in the ballot. They all do. Don't act like it matters he failed. The deep pockets of the ACLU got its proposal on the ballot the same way Eyman does with paid circulators.
@4-I don't hate those who get involved. I hate those who run initiative campaigns for personal gain and who are bent on destroying government's ability to do the things that it needs to do.
Why not do a story about both the G.O.P. AND Demonkraps NOT closing all those unfair/anti-meritocratic tax loopholes on ALL political levels? Year after year? ( Hint; they cost the Rest of Us hundreds of BILLIONS per annum. --- https://www.ctj.org & http://www.itep.org/whopays ). Pfft!!!

It's how he pays his rent, you mark.
