Most of what people think they see, in murica are gutter lies, manipulative smelly horsecrap, psychotic conspiracy confabulation, hyperintellectualized inanity.  Many people like me  have done every job there is, in crudhole murica. Worked in nuclear plants. Breathed industrial chemical poison, or radioactive  dust in muricas backbone ,industrial pukeholes. 

We have cleaned at mcdonalds. Bagged groceries. Dug ditches. Shoveled horse crap. If people came even close to getting payed, by how hard, they had to work, and how dangerous a lot of peoples work is, maybe things would be different.  The entitled think the sugar machine never ends.

It is now becoming the law of diminishing returns.  If many more people were given decent places to live , decent healthcare in this rotten  place, maybe things, would be a lot different . Maybe things might be different for many, in this assinine blowhard, parallel universe .  This degenerating-crudhole society. But they are not. 

If every month a person like a sociology college professor, a quack blowhard doctor who constantly misdiagnoses overprecribes garbage drugs , and spends most of its time bitching about crappy private and medicare reimbursements had to really work. If a slimeass lawyer, had to work a day a month, at a burger king or, in a smelly dangerous chemical  industrial plant, or as a  low end medical aid or bedpan nurse . If they had to work a day a month at amazon or at walmart, or as a cop, things would be different. 

If they  had to pay 2/3 of their income in a ghetto tenament for rent, w no access to medical care, barely paying bills, watching this crummy society fall apart around them.......

If crooked politicians and their sire .......

Maybe people who work hard,  would get paid ok . Maybe more would have a decent place to live, healthcare, food that is not riddled with nasty-poison chemicals, maybe things would be different. Maybe the people who have comforts, would stop bitching about the  other people , they percieve less than human and, become semi 
-human themselves.

If more people here, saw the real murica, maybe there would be some changes. 

If people from africa saw the way things really are  here, for most people:The garbage, the violence, the smugness. There is the fraudulent- med care there is overindulgence in the junky phoney-wasteful, fake society . Piles of chemical and redioactive garbage. The chronic illness from the pollution and poisonous-fake abundance, the overconsumption. 

It they saw, what most likely awaits most of them, if  they come here: The hate, the itinerant shelter, maybe they would rally to save their own countries that still have some clean water , air, and soil. If scumwad muricans saw reality, maybe they would do something with the evil demon 
Killers leaders. The liars and scumbags that make a mockery of democracy. The criminal politicians ,   that are destroying africa and the rest of the world. That are destroying this country. 
Maybe there would be incentive and help for the africans to do something about their own countries.
And yet,  all the dumn monkeys here,  ignore the ecocidal destruction of life support that makes them fat, stupid, makes their children be birth defects, makes everyone hate everyone else,   in this chemical-radioactive sewer. 

If you  saw the lousey, delapidated boarding houses, with 100 rooms in major cities. The firetrap boarding houses that have feces on the walls in the main halls, shared toilets an 8 by 10 room for 800 hundred a month, with 3 african refugees in each 8 by 10 room . African refugees that go to Mcdonalds down the street, for free wifi.

All the chaos, waste, violence, nonsensical bullcrap, walking over homeless people in craphole cities. If you stopped and really saw and, talked to young people who cannot afford to move out of their parents houses. Talked to young people and working poor families, that work three crap jobs, to pay 1100 a month for a slumhole.

There are the more priviliged, working at chemical plants. They breath smelly-crap-poisons, that will kill them in 15 years. Working in filthy-chemical plants,  makes half the kids they sire retarded with birth defects. They work there, so they can drive that nice big truck.  So they can contribute further , to the huge islands of garbage in the  ocean, the size of texas. Have more water, full of radium from fracking and cars and coal plants, yet the illusion must go on.

There are a lot fewer birds in many cities in murica,  not many because of pesticides, fuku, car exhaust, nucular power trash. 75 percent of insects in n hemisphere dead. 

Nuclear power plants on the verge of blowups and fuel fires , that constantly belch radioactive tritium dioxide in with the water vapor from their cooling towers.  Deadly tritium dioxide dispersed  en masse, into the environment.

Whats left of wildlife in murica, are coyotes and crows, moving into degenerate-urban human sprawls, to eek it out for a while.

There are the molycoddled sycophants and suckasses of the entitled,   who have lived comfortably, as librarians et al, and cannot really think for themselves . There was a extreme right wing group in the non-profit department that got names for groups like Judicial Watch, and The Heritage Foundation, and the NRA and so forth.
During the Obama vs. Romney election, I was talking to those guys and made some comment about how they must be rooting for Romney to win. To my surprise (at the time), they said they wanted Obama to win because it'd be better for business. They'd make way more money in commissions if Obama were re-elected.

Former conservative evangelical here. (Guess what? That business about going off to college and leaving the flock isn't off the mark! Once you get perspective on some of the nuttiness, it's hard to go back. That's why many younger Christians are becoming more liberal or leaving the organized churches.) I'd like to offer a partial defense, not because I agree with them, but because I think some people are painting these evangelicals with a broad brush.

Not ALL conservatives wants teen pregnancy and STI rates to increase. There are true believers. They're still wrong - abstinence-only sex 'education' is demonstrably less effective than comprehensive - but that doesn't mean they're the same as the hypocrites we see in Congress. No mistake, there are loads of these hypocrites, in Congress and everywhere else, and I am disgusted by them.

This, however, doesn't preclude the true believers, the ones who actually did wait to have sex until they got married and therefore come at the issue with an attitude of, "Sure, sex can be tempting, but I resisted, and so could everyone else." They truly, honestly believe that convincing teenagers not to have premarital sex is the best thing for said teens' interest in the long term. They don't want teen pregnancy or STIs, and they don't want to give Satan a foothold in vulnerable teenagers' immortal souls, either.

These are the people politicians then pander to in complete hypocrisy, of course. Meanwhile, there are women's Bible studies and teen church groups and men's retreats (especially women and teen girls, though, as the onus always falls on women, you know, because men can't control themselves) full of people who earnestly believe this is the right way to go, and that teaching kids about sex is just giving them permission to have it.

They're wrong. But they aren't all scheming hypocrites, and without realizing this distinction, we're never going to be able to have a productive conversation.

@21, you're right that teen sex is going down, but with comprehensive sex education again on the decline, the sti and pregnancy rates among those sexually active teens will very quickly begin to rise again. Also, with the only option taught being "don't do it", teens will not be as aware of other forms of sexual activity besides standard PiV intercourse, so they'll just do that. Why would they need to know how to manually, or orally, pleasure a partner, when all that's needed for reproduction is good old Biblical missionary-style intercourse? (But not before marriage). Of course, there is a thinly veiled book on sex education that made it into the Bible (Song of Solomon, anybody?) but that's a topic for another day.

While certain people might not reach the same hypocrisy levels and do honestly believe their intentions are good, your example still leaves us with girls who grow up believing that they have no inherent right to their own sexual pleasure (in fact, the setback from childhood conditioning can be overwhelming) and that only they can prevent a boy from exercising his apparently barely-restrained lust. It's just wrong and damages both boys and girls.

So, while these protectors of their children's eternal heavenly reward aren't "as bad as", they're still bad. And, when many of their children invariably fall short, the children are further traumatized as they feel they'll never be clean or pure again in the eyes of God and their parents. It's a lousy burden to impose on children.
