I don't think Trump counts as a world leader. He's explicitly said that he's a nationalist, not a globalist.

There’s no doubt that the ultimate goal of the hate-crazed Tdumpnazis, the Evilungelical ChrISIStians, and the Rapeublican party is the total extermination of all of the rest of us, whether it’s because we’re people of color, Jewish, Muslim, LGBT, or immigrants.

That’s the reason they were so desperate to get Go-Suck and Commander Kavanaugh on the Supreme Kangaroo Court: They’ll rubber stamp every action, including Executive Orders stripping us of our own citizenship. They already upheld the explicitly racist travel ban, and that’s just the beginning.

We can’t negotiate with terrorists that fundamentally believe God is on their side, and all of the rest of us don’t have a right to exist.

I don't think anyone is making any attempt to justify or argue in favor of Anti-Semitism, are they? Trump is an idiot and extremely poor spoken, and tends to use whoever he needs to, but he's never actually advocated any form of violence. 2. Wit
h a Spanish surname, I assume his knowledge of anti-Semitism includes the Inquisition. Just checking. 2. The UN? Even the mainstream Conservatives couldn't
care less.

@ 4,

Uh huh. Did you ask the Googles? There’s only 32,900,000 results.

“all the times trump advocated violence”

6

Thank you, Antonio Guterres.

I hope there is a bloody revolution in that every neofascist member of the Mein Trumpfy swamp, lawyers, lobbyists, profiteers, trophy bimbos, bitches and snot nosed brats faces horrific conseuqnces for the reprehensible hate crimes at the expense of the Earth and the rest if us. The RepubliKKKans brought all his on----it is high time they pay dearly.

@4: “...a Spanish surname,”

If you’d read the post, you’d know he was Portuguese, not Spanish. He specifically recalled a major episode of anti-Senitism in Portugal’s history. (“Nobody expects! ... um... I’ll come in again.”)

The real disturbing thing about the global rise of neo-fascism is that this is happening in a time where most of the world is at peace and economically stable and the sure to be dire effects of climate change have not fully kicked in. If 'idiot ideas' are already infecting societies far and wide just imagine what we are going to face when there is a real crisis.

9

"Tdumpnazis, the Evilungelical ChrISIStians, and the Rapeublican"

Wow. You got 'em. They're toast now. You got 'em.

@ 9,

“Put ‘em all together and you might get a full set of teeth.

— Marc Caputo

11

@8 the rapidly shrinking middle class faces a real crisis

12

The UN?

Give us a call when the head of the Justice League has something to say.

13

@1: That's a fair point, I guess.

“This is something we need to be very attentive in our societies because one of the logics of extremist organizations is to, in a subtle way, try to penetrate the mainstream and make some of their idiot ideas being accepted as a new normal in our societies.”

This is profoundly important. As Derek Black - son of Stormfront website founder and white nationalist elected to the West Palm Beach County Republican Committee before leaving white nationalism - explained, subtle statements like complaining about PC culture run amok are dog-whistles that white nationalists/supremacists use to get their ideas into the mainstream, nudging the Overton window in their favor.

14

Oh, I forgot to clarify @1 that he's also not any sort of leader, given his capriciousness and lack of any convictions beyond self-aggrandizement.

16

@13 It's worthwhile to note that a lot of these idiot ideas weren't normalized by far right activists but by Fox News, a billionaire owned media corporation, and Roger Ailes, a Republican operative.
https://theintercept.com/2018/10/30/fox-news-has-done-more-to-incite-domestic-political-violence-than-donald-trump/

18

@17 Both are pretty far right of course but they are not the typical fringe white supremacist entity usually associated with proselytizing racial bigotry. Normalization of these ideas into a banality of evil blaring in America's living rooms occurred thanks to the GOP (much before it was identified as extremist) and a mega-corporation.

Please wait...
