Good news for everyone! Just five more to go!!

There's a lot not to like about Bagshaw, but with the money and Chamber of Commerce interests in that district, I wouldn't be surprised if their next councilperson is to the right of her.

When contemplating the tidal flow of fresh faces for city council recall "all politics are local"; particularly so that they're now districted seats. That is, beware of the city council candidate who wants to remake the world into a socialist paradise or even conquer economic polarization, that's just not something that should entirely occupy a city council person's focus. There is a vast array of vital yet oh-so tedious local matters they must be prepared to focus upon. Don't run for a city council district unless you are prepared to fight for funds to fix pot-holes and understand police retirement plan budgets (dammit)

@3 With the influx of Amazonians in SLU, I’m concerned that the next council person is going to be fiscally conservative if socially liberal.

I agree with DOUG and TheMisanthrope. Stranger writers may find themselves reflecting back fondly on Sally Bagshaw(’s plane).

Thank you for your service, CM Bagshaw. Your successor will represent Seattle’s most dynamically changing District. This set of Council elections just got a lot more interesting!

Fiscal conservatives bankrupted Kansas, blew up the Federal budget and are drawing us into a debt spiral. But that won't stop another Heritage Foundation intern to jump into this with both feet. Being an ex-speed bump in liberal cities must look good on Koch courtier resumes.
