Wow. Not even a warning. They're serious about using company printers!

2

Not a member of the union? Whoops, too bad. That means you are an at will employee and can be fired for nearly any reason. This lawsuit has no chance.

Aegis stole my grandma's hammer.

4

@2 That's why every worker needs a union, and union-busting should be a felony.

I keep seeing negative commercials on tv about this place that are sponsored by thestranger, com which is pretty weird. Hopefully nobody gets fired for seeing commercials next.

Conor, you seem to be the only one with any stones left at this alt-corporate, politician-owned blog. Nice job sticking it to Aegis.

If you ever come across a story that’s too hot for the BuzzFeed-tier editorial team or their bosses at Noisy Creek, contact the folks at the Seattle Spitfire.

@7 LOL that’s some funny stuff from Briar Dudley whining about “political kingmakers" in the media when he works for the Blethen-owned Times. Even in that very article he can’t resist denying and defending corporate power structures.

It's not just Aegis. I can tell you for sure that all the luxury senior living chains are managed like high school yearbooks, with small minded and egotistical building directors, who play favorites with those who brown-nose them while berating other workers, regardless of quality of work, in fact usually in complete opposite proportion to quality or effort of work. They also are voracious about finding ways to milk more and more out of resident families, using any illness or lapse as a reason to shunt a resident to a higher cost level of care. It's a real shitshow and anyone putting their loved ones in those places are being ripped off hand over fist.
