There are other companies that are trained and Certified in Bio-Hazard clean up, in Snohomish County. Northwest Decon is one of them. We train an retrain yearly. One of our strictest policies is, Total confidentiality for our clients. We will not talk about the job to anyone. If we have to it is with a counselor. We are out there to help others not exploit them.

The best way to know if a company is in it for the money or to help is if they offer pro bono work. If it was all about money they wouldn't work for free. Bear in mind they are also putting their own lives at risk to do this work. Also, ironically, insurance adjusters become concerned when a company greatly underbids a job even if their pricing follows the contractor Bluebook. Such things may reveal price gouging on the part of other bidding companies who are taking advantage of the insurance.

The best way to know if a company is qualified and reputable is to contact the National Organization for Victim Assistance for their Bio-recovery Company Requirements checklist, and the American Bio-recovery Association. Research is the best way to avoid someone making a greater mess of the situation.
