Wow. Written by someone who knows nothing about this subject. VFR flight plans do not have anything to do with whether or not a planes flies a specific path with 1 mile. it only has to do with arriving at a destination in a window of time. seaplanes fly where they need to in order to be safe and efficient even if that means flying a different than typical path. also any part 135 operator is not under the jurisdiction of TSA so the security requirements dont exist. Anyways flying a dehavilland beaver into a building would be like throwing a paper airplane at a wall.
