Labor Ready wants to be the McDonald's of the day labor industry. Given that they treat workers like meat, they're right on track.

I think that Labor Ready has its good and its bad. Alot of felons who cant find jobs are able to bring home a small check, better than no check. ITs a stepping stone until one finds a real job. On the other hand they are playing the middle man pimp role 50% of the top. And if you work for a client of Labor Ready for the day, that company cant hire you if they like the way you work for 90 days.
Yes alot of the workers are drug users just looking for a high. some have crimminal records others are on SSI and need a little extra to hold them to the first on the month.
I worked for Labor Ready for pennys went to trade school and and 2 hours of work in my trade was like a days work in Labor ready. and because of this economy now, your seeing skilled workers and semi educated waiting for work at Labor Ready
