I'm sorry, my dear, but money does matter, and affects how people vote. People are very often lazy(as you mentioned), and simply vote for whatever line of crap is repeated over and over, or whatever name sounds vaguely familiar (see article). You only have to follow a few elections to know this is true.
I do wish the Stranger Election Control Squad had included the judicial races in their endorsements article. Even though the Stranger printed an article at another time, alot of people only look at the big endorsements article for their voting guidance.
From the piece: "Jim JohnsonĆ¢ā¬āthe most conservative member of the court . . . [was] the author of a 2006 decision that justified banning gay marriage in this state by arguing that gay couples make inferior parents."
The author of the plurality opinion in Andersen v. King County was Barbara Madsen, dumbfuck.
Johnson's reelection was due primarily to how he acts dishonestly to benefit the most powerful special interest group in this state. I'll let you figure out what that is.
Sanders - it's this kind of story that shows why nobody gives a rat's ass about "the gehys" or this publication when it comes to politics.
