i spent over 10 years in the military when you get orders you go to a new base and integrate into a new squadron. i got out a staff seargeant and could go to any base and perform my duties i was in the security police usaf. why cant a civilian cop do the same. with some training on local laws and procedures (just like we did) it shouldnt be a problem. spd has serious issues and needs some people with a different perspective. or maybe that is what they fear.
"Are the unions going to protect their employees at the potential cost of stymieing reform at the highest levels of SPD?"
Does anyone think they even *might* not do this if at all possible?
