Where Is the Outrage Over "Take the Skinheads Bowling"?

Lawn = pubic hair
Skinheads = boy parts
Bowling alley = girl parts
Bowling = Sex

Hillary didn't rig the primary. Bernie got his ass handed to him.

You have entirely too much time on your hands.
4
Oh, I get it. You're trying your hand at satire, right?

Don't give up your day job...

"...participate in a traditionally white-cis-heteronormative cultural practice like bowling?"

Here is a little message from the people of Detroit: black people like to bowl.
Here is another: if you're looking for a racist, just look in the mirror.

Can we just have Wm. Steven Humphrey back and dispense with these very unfunny impersonations.
7
Maybe he meant just their heads.

I haven't heard the song, nor do I plan to, but my first thought when I saw "take the skinheads bowling" was that their heads, being unencumbered by hair, would make good bowling balls. Any chance that's what the song means?

Some of us would consider the unfunniness a vital part of the accuracy of such an impression.

Is TheStranger curating from alt-right comedy groups?
11
That tone they use over at The Onion sure looks easy to pull off before you actually try your hand at it, doesn't it?

This guys has used up entirely too much air...pay your tax you white puke.

Camper is cool, and the song is funny. You are not cool. You are not funny. You are not even remotely interesting on any level. Sorry if everyone killed your self importance buzz dude. Now go find yourself a source that will play you some Morrissey.

from 300 songs dOT COM, on Take the Skinheads Bowling: " we regarded Take The Skinheads Bowling as just a weird non-sensical song. The lyrics were purposely structured so that it would be devoid of meaning. Each subsequent line would undermine any sort of meaning established by the last line. It was the early 80’s and all our peers were writing songs that were full of meaning. It was our way of rebelling. BTW this is the most important fact about this song. We wanted the words to lack any coherent meaning. There is no story or deeper insight that I can give you about this song."

I appreciate you advocating for POC and the marginalized, but want to differentiate between racist skinheads and nonracist ones, like SHARPs--Skinheads Against Racial Prejudice (https://www.facebook.com/SHARPCREW/). I'm an AAPI woman and was in the skinhead scene in DC, Philly, and London, and there were plenty of trads (traditionals--skinheads first emerged in 1960s England as an apolitical group that appreciated Jamaican ska) and SHARPs, including those of color, who fought the "boneheads" (the neo-Nazis). So, #notallskinheads--thankfully.

Bowling is a dying sport - we've lost so many alleys in the last 20 years. Just sayin.
