Regarding the caller who asked about his friend having had sex with a woman who was incredibly drunk: sex with a person who is so drunk that he or she cannot give informed consent is considered to be sexual assault and is against the law. Because the important issue is the ability/inability to give informed consent, the drunk person need not be unconscious for the sex act to be a sexual assault.
