Maybe it's genetic. Maybe female sexuality is, you know, more fluid than male sexuality. Or maybe women are just fucking nuts. Whatever the reason, while there's never any shortage of LUGs on college campuses, there is no such thing as a GUG, or a Gay (Male) Until Graduation.

Men are never confused about their sexuality. You're either gay or you're not and you know it. A gay guy in college might be confused/scared about when and how to come out--maybe he doesn't want to disappoint his parents (especially if they're paying the bills), spook his frat brothers, or make his dorm-mate nervous--but he knows he's a homo. He notices cute guys on the street; he jerks off thinking about other guys; he joins a frat, for crying out loud. (Please note: You might meet guys in college who claim to be "confused" or "exploring," "questioning," "bisexual," "not into labels," etc. These guys aren't confused, they're liars--big, fat, gay liars who haven't worked up the nerve to come out yet.)

Does this mean no straight guys ever have gay sex? Of course not. Lots of straight guys have had same-sex experiences and most have them in high school or college. These aren't GUG scenarios, however, just drunken one-offs that any straight boy who wants to be thought of as straight should keep to himself. Women can dabble in lesbo sex in college (even lesbo love) and still be taken seriously as straight women, but a man can't even stick so much as a single finger in his ass without people thinking he's a fag forever.
