There is a reason that Maynard alley is creepy and its not the pet store. The pet store is kind of odd but creepy? Probably not compared to what is one door down. A Chinese gambling club(the Wah Mee) where thirteen Chinese Businessmen were robbed at gunpoint tied up and then shot to death by a local Chinatown hoodlum with gambling debts and his two friends on Chinese New Year(Feb 19th)1983. Though the outside of the door was recently painted purple, which really didn't reduce the creepiness in my humble opinion, the door has been sealed for almost thirty years. Nobody has been inside and the blood and half drunken glasses of sake are still sitting there. And yes there's a pet shop next door.
