Well, Charles, I acknowledge that La Tarasca alone is well worth the trip to Centralia! (They're closed on Tuesdays and they aren't open late, plan carefully!) But, there are more things in Centralia to impress than you realize.
James Kelsey Studios recently opened in Centralia (http://jameskelseystudios.com/).
ARTrails of Southwest Washington is coming up in September (http://www.artrailsofsww.org/)
HubBub is a great place to find contemporary home decor and unique, hand crafted gifts. (http://hubbubshop.com/index.html)
It's really too bad, Charles, that you didn't find it in you to look further past the Outlet Malls!! Take a look at the rest soon! Centralia is a great place to take a stroll and enjoy the quieter side. AND you can catch Amtrak down, skipping the I-5 mess that is King and Pierce County.
