So... I go to Denver instead of Seattle for my 4/20 celebration. Got it.

I'm all in favor of this. I want as many stoned people as possible so they forget to go to work and get fired, so I can take their jobs. I also want gay couples to break up so there are more single guys for me. I'm very community-minded.

Hard to believe it's less than a year away.

@3: Spoken like a true process-loving Seattleite. Are you being facetious? It's been too fucking long already. Now I have to wait until next summer? That's total crap. These hand-wringing clenchbutts need to get their shit together pronto.

Question - the law prohibits marijuana retailers from being located within a 1000 feet of schools, libraries, childcare centers, arcades, etc.

If I open a retail shop in location that meets these requirements, can someone force me to close simply by opening an arcade or day care center within 1000 feet of my shop?

@5: We've waited decades. We can wait until June. Geeze.

@schmacky Uh, it's kind of a big deal, legalizing pot? Cool your jets bro. Just like booze, licensing procedures need to be established, as well as figuring out how to tax all this shit (thank god, we need the revenue). As far as I can tell, things have been moving exactly according to plan. We just voted this shit in a year ago, just got word from the feds that we were good to go this summer. Would you rather it be a fucking nightmare embarrassment rush launch a la the AHA?

@schmacky I feel your pain. It is super hard to get weed around here, y'know?

Please wait...
