Tony Bennett was 75 minutes of pure pop pleasure! His 4-piece band was stunning --- his drummer was Count Basie's favorite drummer! Tony's singing has complexity, texture, regret, mellowed age (obviously) and love-tinged optimism. This cat had a pretty dark life back in the day. And survived it. No wonder he smiles all the time!
