State Court of Appeals affirms city of Kent's authority to ban medical marijuana businesses

Key Points:
The Court of Appeals ruled Monday that medical marijuana use, including participation in collective gardens, is illegal in the state.
Basically, cities and counties can ban mmj collectives and dispensaries. Folks only
got affirmative defense now. Funny how the
registry was the key to MUCA. Perhaps,
the legislators who wanted to help medical
knew what the hell they were talking about.
One year Reprieve? I HIGHLY doubt it, even
in friendly Seattle.
The ball is in the legislators' court and
I doubt that there will be a friendly response.

The medical program serves a different demographic of cannabis citizen and those of us who use cannabis therapeutically should not be taxed at the same rate and held to unreasonable pricing .
Cannabis use is neither a sin or a vice and it is time our elected officials understand this and stop treating us like children......
