How Donna Milo Is Fucking with Conservatives in Florida—and Why I'm All for It

I wonder what gendering syllable. "-ica"?

Good piece, well written, informative and moving.
I often change my gender and do so without the need to have surgery/hormons/legal status and whatever it is that may "qualify" me.

It took me a looong time to get there, make peace with myself and go out in public.
But it was certainly worth the wait!

It shouldn't be necessary to say here that many trans people are very much offended by the term "tranny." If someone told you it's ok to use, then it's ok when referring to them. If they told you it's ok to use when referring to other people, they're wrong. Don't use it to refer to anyone who hasn't told you it's ok to use with them. And being trans yourself does *not* give you the privilege of referring to other people as "trannies."

Dean Spade's guess that "The vast majority of trans people don't ever have surgery" is just that - a guess, albeit a reasonable guess. But since no one knows how many trans people there are (many people never come out), then any of these statistics - like: x% of trans people attempt suicide - are pure inventions.

So, being trans isn't like being gay or black where you get to use special words to refer to your community? why so many uptight trannies?

Hey Faggot!

Everything about Milo screams MTWTF.
7
Or wait. MTFTL. Maybe even MTFML.

As a participant in tea parties, I have attended Republican primary debates, and I have been quite impressed with Milo's ideas as well as her presentation of them.

I think everyone should stop assuming they know what others believe about transgenders and, for that matter, members of the tea party movement.

I am committed to another candidate, however if Milo wins the Republican primary, I will volunteer to her campaign, and I will work hard on her and our behalf.
I say this because it is critical that I think about the big picture--the loss of freedom in the US--rather than single issues such as gay marriage and abortion. We can work on those issues provided we retain freedom of speech and an economy that does not collapse.
It is imperative that we get serious about saving the country while we have the chance.

I read some time ago that listening to ideas with which one does not agree actually causes negative brain activity: It is really uncomfortable to listen to information or ideas with which one disagrees. Nevertheless, I challenge this audience to listen to FOX news for one full week--as many programs as you can, and to Rush Limbaugh. I say this because the liberal media routinely misrepresent what is said and, as a result, many take their viewpoints as their own without ever listening first hand.

Another eye opener is to actually watch the Senate and House of Representatives in action. The reporting is routinely slanted.

Now is the time to be informed and to protect our constitution. Once it and all the freedoms it protects are lost, we may never again reclaim them.

Please wait...
