Thanks, Sarah Galvin, for this sweet and brave piece of writing. I think we all feel a little less alone in our own weird things that bring us pleasure.
Nice that there are no negative comments yet. I would like to take a second to say that there is nothing wrong with this or any other fetish SHARED MUTUALLY by people. As long as both parties are cool with it, no bad. To each, their own.
You should come check out Debauchery at Neighbors (next one is July 18th, at 8pm.) Lots of hot queers, of ALL body types taking off their clothes to raise money for community organizations.
"I was ashamed to want such power over another person. That is the main source of the excitement—the idea of controlling someone from the inside out, or witnessing a fundamental loss of control that allows me to imagine myself in a position of power over them."
There are no end of dominate people who have struggled with this. Thanks for being brave enough to write about this.
@12: It's odd. Fantasy feeders I can understand on some level of detatched Dom level, actual feeders who essentially hobble and cripple the objects of their desire until they can't handle most aspects of life without the feeder's "help", eh. Not so much.
Beautifully written. I enjoy explaining to others, who I have made aware of my interests, about the proverbial egg-hunt you speak of. I find it a blessing to be surrounded by reminders of my sexuality as does my darling girlfriend <3

Thank you for writing this, Sarah - and I agree, it's much tougher to "come out" to others regarding this than anything else. Maybe because it's one of the last great taboos of the West. But more stories like this will make others more brave and willing - and eventually accept.
Thank you, Sarah
