@6 I guess that's about what I expected. My stance is not that it's the newer members of the "alphabet train" getting too big for their britches (more visible), but rather that media (some mainstream and /definitely/ the conservative media) have taken this very small part of the population and cranked up their insane coverage and delusional thinking and that's what got the peons riled up.

The conservative side solidly lost the "Should we accept the gays?" debate so now they've glommed onto an even smaller and more vulnerable population to villainize. When actual legislators are insinuating and sometimes plainly stating that trans folks and drag queens are "groomers" (wow, way to pull mid-20th century tactics from the back shelf) then I won't be pointing fingers at the minority group; my fingers are solidly pointed at those that actually hold power and are actively wielding it to increase unnecessary suffering.

Decorum be damned. The power-holders on the conservative side are riling up the deplorables with foreseeable results.
